Camp on the carpark of the guesthouse inside the Schneller School, large centre for children in distress in the ME. Great hopsitality, close to downtown Amman (15 mn taxi). Access to clean and functional facilities in one of the rooms of the guesthouse. Free internet.

Possible to camp at the entrance of Dana NP for free. Toilet accessible but no shower. Under the trees, facing the valley. Dirty ground (lots of rubbish), you have to look for a clean spot. Temperature can go down to 5 degrees at night.

Camping set up as a Bedouin camp. Beautiful location, in the mountains of Little Petra, but very dirty facilities. Electricity available. At the time of visiting a young dog kept us awake most of the night.

Gorgeous location close to rocky mountain, handy to set up a bush shower. Not far from Bedouin camp. After paying the entrance fee for the park (pay for 1 day only) you can stay as long as you like and camp where you like.

Note: the exact spot is in a river bed so keep an eye on the weather.
